On Chat Moderation: Application Processing at Texting Factory No Follow-Up Email Received

Texting Factory has by far one of the most lenient and simplest application process known in the chat moderation industry. 

It basically only consists of 3 important steps:

1. Submit your name, email, and motivation to apply at Texting Factory Registration Portal. Takes no more than 5 minutes. 

2. Within the day after submission, you can expect to receive an email to verify your email address. Upon opening the link, you should fill out the form and start an ID verification process through evalid.IO, a smart ID verification software used by Texting Factory to avoid fraud and fake profiles. 

3. Once completed, you can expect to receive a confirmation email if your ID was approved within the day. Normally, within 48 hours applicants receive the training instruction and coordinate with the designated coach and get assessed. 


Technically, the application process takes no more than 3 days and successful employees can start working in no time. 






Not everyone though has had a happy ending.. Ugh!


We've been receiving reports that some applicants find difficulties at different parts within the process which can either be a technical difficulty on their end or an internal problem within the site. 

Are you experiencing any of the problems reported below?

Situation A. After submitting an application on the Texting Factory Registration Portal, the applicant never received an email to verify their email or ID.


Situation B. Applicant received an email to verify ID but was unable to submit their ID. The Next Step button is grayed out and readily says "Thank you for doing your verification with evalid. We will contact you soon with the results of the verification."

Add-on: We will also include in this situation the instances where an applicant was able to complete ID verification but did not receive any confirmation email if ID was approved or rejected after 24 hours.





Situation C. 
Applicant received an email to verify the ID, was able to submit and complete the verification and received a confirmation that the ID was approved but did not receive an email about training instruction even after 72 hours. (1-day allowance provided to give way for any delays due to an increase in submitted applications)


If you are experiencing any one of those, I have compiled a series of troubleshooting steps you should try to resolve the problem and eventually receive your application status.



TROUBLESHOOTING


For Situations A and C, these 2 instances when there were no emails received to either verify their ID or receive an email with their training instructions.

NOTE: PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THERE WERE NO TYPOS WHEN YOU ENTERED YOUR EMAIL DURING REGISTRATION, AND THAT YOU HAVE CHECKED YOUR SPAM FOLDERS UP AND DOWN. 

  • If there were typos in your email, simply resubmit your application. Please don't do this too often, we do not like duplicate submissions. 

If you have followed everything above, and still no email is found - this is most likely an internal issue. Please email our team to report and find the status of your application following this format:

We have one more situation to go. 


Situation B where applicants are having issues submitting their ID. 





Before anything else, we have to make sure that we follow these steps first and make sure this is not a browser compatibility issue:

(1) Clear your browser history and cache and retry the link.
(2) If this does not solve it, please try using another phone.
(3) Resort to a laptop or PC as a last option.


If neither of these work, I have found that retrying the link up to a 4th try resolved the error. You may opt to try this first before resorting to sending another email. 

If nothing is working, please email our ID software's team with this format:

Address the email to info@evalid.io



Another email format to be used if you did not receive an email if your ID was approved or rejected. This case is rare and most emails are being directed to spam folders so please check before emailing to save you time.




  • PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ENTER THE SAME FULL NAME AND EMAIL ADDRESS YOU REGISTERED ON THE WEBSITE.
  • THE DATES ON THE PHOTOS PROVIDED ABOVE WERE ONLY EXAMPLES. 


This is a temporary solution as we have observed that these errors were encountered by applicants starting last week of February up to the first week of March. The issue has been reported and known to the management so rest assured Texting Factory is already on it to get it fixed.
